Nedspice is happy to announce that it expanded its sustainable certifications and can now include Nedspice Binh Phuoc factory to their Rainforest Alliance certified factories.
Nedspice’s newest factory in Binh Phuoc, Vietnam received a Rainforest Alliance certificate for black pepper, by which it follows in the footsteps of its established big brother in Binh Duong, Vietnam.
The Rainforest Alliance (RA) certificate at factory level includes activities such as packing, processing, manufacturing, storing and trading. At farm level, the certificate liaises 542 farmers with Nedspice Binh Phuoc factory. The 542 farmers operate following RA agricultural standard and jointly cultivate 775 hectares of ground. They produced 1,441 tons of RA black pepper in this crop season alone.
This certificate allows us to directly ship RA certified products from the Binh Phuoc factory. Another welcome contribution to creating a more sustainable spices supply chain.
The certificate can be found here and here (under Binh Phuoc).
