Royal visit at Nedspice India

On 17th of October 2019 His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands visited Nedspice Processing India in Kochi, Kerala. The visit was part of the major Dutch trade mission to India from 13-18 October scheduled in parallel with a state visit. The topics of the mission centred around the food- water-health. As part of the mission Nedspice was given the opportunity and honor to host a roundtable discussion on Climate Resilient Agriculture in which several subject matter experts and government policy makers participated, including the Minister of Agriculture V.S. Sunil Kumar, Agriculture Production Commissioner Devendra Kumar Singh and Mr. Loek Hermans, business delegation leader and former Minister of Education in the Netherlands. The discussion was moderated by Hanneke Schuiling, Director General for Foreign Economic Relations, and focused around four United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, namely Zero Hunger, Good Health & Wellbeing, Clean Water & Sanitation and Responsible Consumption & Production.
