This year Nedspice implemented SAP S/4HANA company wide. In two waves SAP has been implemented at factories in Vietnam and India, our regional sales offices and the group office in the Netherlands.
The ERP software supports the entire Nedspice supply chain from farmer to customer. With SAP we created transparency across all processes and entities. For example, quality data of the raw material sourced at the farmers, is stored in SAP at the time of goods receipt at the factory. These data are available in the production processes and can even be used on the quality certificates, that are issued to our customers.
As every other ERP implementation, the project was not about just installing the software. Business processes and master data, like material codes, had to be re-defined to either fit the SAP standard, or –more important – improve our processes and services.
With the SAP S/4HANA platform Nedspice is ready for the future. New business activities can seamlessly be integrated, like the new state-of-the-art dehydration factory that is currently being built in Muhava, India.
